  • CAN I GET LEGALLY MARRIED BY THE BEACH?
    NO… By Dutch Law all legal marriages for everyone has to take place in the Civil Town Hall.

  • WHAT KIND OF FLOWERS CAN I HAVE?
    All flowers are imported on the island and most of the selections are of a tropical nature. With enough lead time any flowers can be ordered and price depends on the type and the country of origin where they are available. Most bouquets are either round nosegays or long cascading in the colors of choice.

  • CAN I GET LEGALLY MARRIED BY A PRIEST?
    NO… In Aruba, religious leaders do not have legal jurisdiction and the local Catholic Church does not perform marriages between non-residents.

  • WILL I GET MY PHOTOS BEFORE I LEAVE?
    Yes, if your ceremony is at least 3 days prior to your leaving your photos will be delivered to your hotel in a small album and will include all negatives. All photos are developed in ″4x6″ color prints.

  • WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE?
    Usually within one month after the Civil Ceremony, the Dutch certificate has been translated into English and an apostille stamp applied by the Judicial Department. This translated certificate will be sent to you by Fed Ex after a copy has been made for our wedding files.

  • HOW LONG BEFORE I GET MY VIDEO?
    Video editing usually takes two weeks. The final product which averages 20-30 minutes will be sent by FED EX in a customized cover.

  • WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WITNESSES?
    A witness has to be at least 18 years old and need to submit either a copy of the passports or a birth certificate with a raised seal along with a valid picture ID. You need at least two witnesses and can have as many as four. If need be, Aruba Weddings For You will supply witnesses for a minimal charge.
